As part of the project "Afterlives of Empire" I created a two-part artwork (both in the form of a cross) in accordance with the motto "Ora et Labora".
The artist book gives an insight into the life of a missionary family in the seventies. This is the private part of the missionary work, on a smaller scale, which highlights the discrepancy I feel when I think about the past of my family.
