In the work Self-Portrait in Five Senses, viewers are invited to reconsider the concept of the self-portrait and discover the artist through all five senses.
The original work consists of five parts, each related to a different sense. 'Hearing' consists of old and new recordings of the artist's voice; 'Touch' is a textile representation of the artist's body; 'Smell' consists of smells collected by the artist; and 'Taste' is a collection of fragments of the artist's skin collected on hosts.
'Sight' is a representation of the artist's body from bottom to top consisting of 18 squares, each showing 10 x 10 cm of the artist's body at different heights. The five senses are also celebrated in the form of five larger drawings.
