The story of Eulalia, the patron saint of Barcelona, illustrates the many ways in which women have been, and still are, abused.
These include confinement, obliteration and possession. Not only were these words stitched, they were also visualised and monoprinted onto a fabric parchment, reminiscent of the long tradition of such treatment.
